Delegation, at your own pace

Having many advisers means telling the same story ten times over: to the notary, the lawyer, the banker, the accountant, the insurer. Cassinia is the single point where it all comes together. You never delegate the decision — you delegate the load.

Three levels, in that order

A single point of contact

A family estate calls on ten professions: notary, tax lawyer, accountant, banker, insurer, manager. Our role is to be the one who knows the whole story, speaks to each of them and gives you back the overall picture. We coordinate your existing advisers; we do not replace them.

Level 1 — Advice

The foundation of the relationship. We gather the documents, examine each option, quantify the consequences and give you a written recommendation. You decide, always. Most families start here and many stay: advice alone is enough for the majority of situations.

Level 2 — The framed mandate

Once trust is established, you may hand over in writing the carrying out of what has been decided: switches within your life insurance and capitalisation policies, property search, follow-up of formalities, chasing the parties involved. The mandate sets the type of acts, the ceilings and the wrappers concerned.

Level 3 — Reporting

Every mandate comes with periodic reports: what has been done, why, where each piece of work stands, what remains open. Delegating is not letting go — it is being better informed, at fixed intervals, by a professional who owes you an account.

What the engagement letter states

The scope

What you hand over, act by act, and what you keep. Decisions on structuring, gifts and disposals remain yours; legal and tax deeds are drawn up by your notary, lawyer and accountant, whose work we coordinate.

The fees

Advisory fees, any commissions received and their amount, and how they are billed. Everything is written down before we start, within the regulatory framework applicable to financial investment advice.

The limits

ASTÉRALE never holds your funds and does not carry out discretionary portfolio management: orders are executed by the custodians and insurers, on accounts opened in your name. The mandate stops exactly where you set it and may be revoked at any time.

Frequently asked questions

Can the mandate be reversed?

At any time, in writing. It is a convenience, not an irreversible commitment: you may narrow it, widen it or end it. The reports give you the material to judge at all times.

When is a mandate considered?

After an established relationship, usually several years of advice. The family asks for it, never the other way round: nothing in our model pushes you from one level to the next.

Who carries out the deeds?

Each in their own profession. The notary for gifts, property deeds and matrimonial regimes; the tax lawyer for structures and disputes; the accountant for accounts and filings. We prepare, coordinate and make sure the timetable holds.

General information: this page is neither personalised advice, nor an offer, nor an investment recommendation. Legal and tax deeds are drawn up by your notary, lawyer and accountant, whom we coordinate. All investment carries a risk of capital loss. First meeting · Confidential

Let us talk about your situation

If you head a family estate that nobody sees in full any more, that is what the first meeting is for: rebuilding the whole picture and telling you, plainly, whether there is a case for working together.
